Napoli restarts contract talks with André-Frank Zambo Anguissa

Napoli has resumed negotiations to renew the contract of midfielder André-Frank Zambo Anguissa. Discussions, which had stalled last November following the player's injury while on international duty, have regained momentum due to the influence of new manager Massimiliano Allegri, who views the Cameroonian as a central figure for the team.

The proposed new agreement is expected to be a three-year deal that would extend Anguissa's stay at the club until 2030. While his current contract is set to expire in 2027, the club aims to secure his long-term future.

Negotiations are currently focused on financial terms, with a reported discrepancy of approximately 500,000 euros between the player's demands and the club's offer regarding salary adjustments. Recent visits to the team's training camp in Castel di Sangro by Anguissa's agent, Maxime Nana, and manager Giovanni Branchini, indicate a serious intent to reach an agreement.
