Napoli sports clubs celebrate centennial milestones

The SSC Napoli football club officially launched a year‑long centennial programme ahead of the symbolic 1 August 2026 anniversary. The club unveiled the 2026/27 home kit on the MSC World Europa, announced upcoming fan‑village installations, and highlighted the return of the historic “Corsiero del Sole” emblem. Celebrations will culminate in a major city‑wide event on 1 August, with additional international gatherings and a documentary film slated for autumn.

Meanwhile, the Circolo Canottieri Napoli marked its 112th anniversary with a gala on the Gulf of Naples. President Giancarlo Bracale announced a partnership with the British GB1 America’s Cup team, which will use the club as its Naples base. The evening featured junior synchronized swimming, wing‑foil displays, and a fireworks finale, underscoring the club’s continued prominence in rowing, swimming, and water‑sports.
