Napoli faces squad shortages ahead of Inter Milan match

Napoli faces significant squad challenges ahead of their upcoming match against Inter Milan. Midfielder Scott McTominay will miss the fixture at San Siro, a decision made by coach Massimiliano Allegri to preserve the player for a dense schedule of nine matches starting in October.

In addition to McTominay, attacker Giovane has undergone successful surgery for an inguinal hernia and is expected to return around mid-October.
