Napoli weighs new chances for Lang, Lucca and pursues Khalaili signing

Italian club Napoli is reviewing the performances of recent signings Noa Lang, Lorenzo Lucca and Sam Beukema, who together cost about €97 million but have failed to meet expectations. Manager Massimiliano Allegri is considering offering the three players another opportunity ahead of the summer transfer window.

At the same time, Napoli is negotiating the transfer of 21‑year‑old Israeli winger Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Union Saint‑Gilloise. The Belgian club values the player at €22.5–23 million, a figure Napoli deems high, especially after accounting for a 20% sell‑on clause owed to Maccabi Haifa. Negotiations remain ongoing as the clubs discuss a possible reduction in the fee.

Both matters reflect Napoli’s broader strategy of reshaping its squad while managing costly acquisitions from the previous season.
