Napoli's Stadio Diego Armando Maradona ranked worst in Europe by journalist

Norwegian journalist Benjamin Solas, who has covered Bodo/Glimt for over a decade, has ranked the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as the worst stadium among the twenty European venues he has visited.

Following a Champions League match against Napoli, Solas published a ranking on social media based on media facilities, logistics, accessibility, and hospitality. He described the experience in Naples as his “worst experience in Europe,” citing poor structures, bad hospitality, confusion, and difficulties with stadium access and exit.

In Solas's ranking, the Emirates Stadium (Arsenal) and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium took the top spots, while the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona placed last, behind other venues such as the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and the Letzigrund in Zurich. The San Siro in Milan was ranked ninth.
