Nara Craft Beer Festival 2026 to be held at Nara Park

The Nara Craft Beer Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place on October 3 and 4 at the Ukigumo Enchi area of Nara Park. This seventh annual event brings together 14 breweries, including those located within Nara Prefecture and others with historical ties to the region.

The festival features craft beers made with local ingredients, such as fruit from Ikoma City, alongside food offerings like Yamato beef yakisoba. Since its inception in 2018, the event has included a traditional ritual at Himuro Shrine to pray for the prosperity of brewing techniques, after which beer is served to attendees.

Visitors can purchase beer using dedicated cups and participate in a refill system. The event is scheduled to run from 10:00 to 17:00 and will proceed regardless of rain.
