Nara Prefecture Arts Festival to feature official guidebook and website

Kadokawa ASCII Research Laboratories has been commissioned to produce the official guidebook and website for the 2026 Nara Prefecture Everyone Enjoys Great Arts Festival (Min-gei).

The official guidebook, titled ‘Min-gei Walker’, is a 32-page full-color publication with a print run of 60,000 copies. It is scheduled for distribution starting August 21, 2026. The guide will feature information on music, theater, dance, and fine arts events held throughout Nara Prefecture, alongside interviews with performers and suggested tourism and gourmet routes. One featured route focuses on Yamatokoriyama City, a location associated with Toyotomi Hidenaga.

In addition to the physical guidebook, a dedicated official website will launch on August 21, 2026. The website will host event listings from various cultural organizations, feature special articles, and provide an event registration system. The festival itself is scheduled to run from September 1 to November 30, 2026, aiming to create a participatory environment for individuals and groups across the prefecture.
