Nara Women's University Secondary Education School wins MEXT award

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) have announced the award winners for the Super Science High School (SSH) Student Research Presentation. The event, which aims to foster international scientific talent, featured participation from 239 schools.

Nara Women's University Secondary Education School received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award for their research titled ‘Aiming to reproduce the world as seen by fish’. Suwa Seiryo High School and Junior High School was honored with the JST President's Award for their work on using Suwa agar to create plastics.

A total of 36 schools were recognized across various categories, including the Chairperson's Award, Encouragement Awards, Poster Presentation Awards, and a Student Vote Award.
