Narbolia hosts MOVE! international school of activism
The first edition of MOVE!, an international school of activism organized by Sardegna chiama Sardegna, concluded on September 13 at Camping Nurapolis in Narbolia. The two-day event drew over 250 participants, including scholars, activists, and political figures from Sardinia, Italy, Europe, and the United States.
The program focused on political organization, self-determination, social justice, female leadership, and new models of activism. Organizers Cristiana Cacciapaglia and Danilo Lampis stated that the initiative aims to help Sardinian political and social movements transform mobilization into lasting, impactful organizational structures.
Discussions included comparisons between Sardinian self-determination movements and experiences in the Basque Country, Andalusia, and the Valencian Community. Notable speakers included European Free Alliance President Lorena López, political scientist Carlo Pala, and various academics from the Universities of Málaga, Miguel Hernández, Cagliari, and Bergen.
