Narconon Volley Melendugno begins season preparations

Narconon Volley Melendugno, a Serie A2 women's volleyball team, has begun its season preparations with a public presentation and joint training sessions. The team made its first public appearance at the ‘Giganti in Volo’ international festival in Roca Vecchia, where players were introduced alongside youth academy athletes.

In recent training, Melendugno participated in a joint practice session with Zero5 Castellana Grotte (Serie A3) at Palagrotte. The session consisted of five sets, with Grotte Volley winning three. Coaches and players noted positive physical and technical progress despite being early in the preparation period.

Melendugno President Gaetano Prisco and Coach Simone Giunta expressed satisfaction with the group's development. The club has also launched Open Days to recruit young athletes for the 2026/27 season.
