Narcotics Control Bureau busts international drug syndicate in India

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has dismantled an international drug trafficking network, arresting five foreign nationals, including one woman. The operation resulted in the seizure of narcotics valued at approximately 15 crore rupees.

Authorities recovered 14.787 kg of amphetamine, 67.840 kg of pseudoephedrine, 318 grams of cocaine, and 6 grams of heroin. The seizures were conducted during raids in Delhi and Gurugram following intelligence provided by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force.

Among those arrested are four Nigerian nationals identified as Obase Prosper Ogboronjor, Abuchi George Okori, Uchenna Stephen Nwanko, and Chikeji Joshua Igwe. Investigations revealed that some suspects were residing in India illegally on expired medical visas. One suspect, Obase Prosper Ogboronjor, was also wanted in connection with a 68 lakh rupee cyber fraud case.
