PM Modi calls for national unity against divisive forces during Dussehra

During Dussehra celebrations at the Indraprastha Ramleela Ground in Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for national unity to combat forces that seek to divide society and harm the country. He urged all political parties and national institutions to align their interests with the nation's welfare to confront those he described as enemies of the country who harbor hatred for Indian culture.

Invoking the ideals of Lord Ram, the Prime Minister emphasized that collective strength and public participation are essential for overcoming significant challenges. He noted that India is currently reclaiming its identity and heritage, citing the return of over 600 ancient idols to the country over the last 12 years.

In West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari also addressed large crowds during Dussehra festivities, calling for a ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ under PM Modi’s leadership. Adhikari urged the public to democratically defeat radical elements and forces he alleged were attempting to create anarchy and disrupt India’s economic progress.
