Narendra Modi extends greetings on Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri extended greetings on the occasion of the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
In a message shared on X, Prime Minister Modi noted that the holy scripture has guided humanity toward selfless service, human dignity, and togetherness for centuries. He expressed hope that the occasion would inspire society to build a more compassionate and harmonious world.
Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri highlighted the historical significance of the first Prakash of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which occurred in 1604 at Sachkhand Sri Harminder Sahib. He emphasized that the teachings of the scripture convey messages of unity, compassion, equality, and peace.
