Narendra Modi praises AI-built Indian history website BharatRajya
During the 137th edition of his monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted BharatRajya, an interactive historical atlas created by Krishna Seshadri.
Seshadri, a Mumbai resident with a background in engineering and marketing, developed the website using generative artificial intelligence despite having no formal coding experience. The platform allows users to interact with a timeline spanning eight centuries to identify which dynasties or rulers governed specific districts in India at any given time.
The project aims to make Indian history more engaging and accessible, specifically focusing on lesser-known empires such as the Cholas, Pallavas, Ahoms, and the Karkota dynasty of Kashmir. During the broadcast, the Prime Minister spoke directly with Seshadri to discuss the website's features and the use of technology to preserve and share historical knowledge.
