Narendra Modi shares morning routine with animals ahead of Independence Day
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video on social media documenting his morning routine at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, prior to the 80th Independence Day celebrations. The footage shows the Prime Minister feeding grains to peacocks and providing fodder to various cattle, including indigenous and miniature breeds, during his morning walk.
Modi described the interaction as a daily practice, referring to the animals as his ‘friends’. He noted that the animals appeared to realize he was departing early for the Red Fort to lead the national flag-hoisting ceremony and address the nation, and subsequently came to meet him.
The personal glimpse follows his official address from the Red Fort, where he outlined the government’s vision for ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047 and emphasized the role of India's youth in the country's development.
