PM Modi interacts with Seva Sankalp Yatra participants
Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted via video conference with participants of the ‘Seva Sankalp Yatra’, a motorcycle rally traveling between Vadnagar and Varanasi. The campaign, marking 25 years of the Prime Minister’s public service, involves 20 teams covering approximately 35,500 kilometers to promote community service, social welfare, and youth engagement at the grassroots level.
During the interaction, PM Modi emphasized that service should be the primary duty of those in public life, stating that ‘service should be our primary duty, and while serving, we should convey the message of service.’ He noted that the gap between urban and rural infrastructure has narrowed over the last 12 years and highlighted the increasing self-reliance among women.
In Gujarat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has supported the initiative by addressing youth through ‘Yuva Samvad’ programs and utilizing the ‘SWAGAT’ platform to resolve public grievances. The BJP Gujarat unit is also organizing various welfare activities, including cleanliness drives and health camps, through October 2 to further the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ goals.
