Narendra Modi’s Vadodara event sells out in one hour

Public registrations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “NaMo for Viksit Bharat” event in Vadodara sold out within one hour of opening on the BookMyShow platform. Following the rapid uptake, registration has closed, leaving more than 42,000 people on a waiting list.

The event, scheduled for Tuesday at the Maharaja Sayajirao University Pavilion, utilizes a fully digital entry system managed by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation. Attendees will use electronic M-tickets featuring live QR codes for verification and seating.

During his visit to the region, Prime Minister Modi is expected to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development projects valued at over Rs 35,000 crore. This includes the dedication of three sections of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, covering 326 route kilometres at a cost exceeding Rs 20,700 crore.
