Nariño leaders urge representatives to prioritize infrastructure and social funding

Following the inauguration of new members of the House of Representatives, social leaders in the Nariño department have outlined critical priorities for the region's development.

A primary challenge for the Nariño delegation is securing investment to complete strategic road corridors that connect the Andean zone with the Pacific coast and the rest of the country. Additionally, leaders are calling for the protection of transfers from the General Participation System to prevent budget cuts in health, education, and social programs across the 64 municipalities of the department.
