Narita Airport stranded by Typhoon Krathon

Typhoon Krathon caused significant transportation disruptions across the Kanto region of Japan, including Tokyo and Chiba, leading to approximately 4,000 passengers being stranded at Narita International Airport. The storm resulted in the suspension of multiple railway lines and caused chaos in air travel.

During a television news broadcast covering the situation at the airport, members of the Japanese idol group RiNCENT# and their staff were captured on camera sleeping on the airport floor. The group's leader, Kotobuki Yuzu, stated that while they reached the airport, they were unable to find transportation to central Tokyo and had to rely on provided sleeping bags, water, and snacks to stay overnight.

Member Yukino Kabasuzu gained significant social media attention after being seen in the news footage wearing a pink sleeveless top while eating a rice ball. Following the broadcast, her post on X (formerly Twitter) acknowledging the footage surpassed 4.38 million views.
