Narni hosts 11th edition of Narnimmaginaria photography festival

The 11th edition of Narnimmaginaria, an international photography festival, will take place in Narni, Umbria, from October 17 to November 1, 2026. The festival centers on the theme ‘Crossing Human Landscapes,’ exploring the complex and often controversial relationships between people and their environments.

The event features eight exhibitions hosted across various historical sites, including the Palazzo dei Priori and the San Domenico Monumental Complex. Highlights include a presentation by Finnish photographer Maria Lax regarding her project ‘Stray Sod,’ which uses Irish folklore as a metaphor for personal and social shifts. Other participating artists include Fyodor Telkov, Matthew Genitempo, Deanna Dikeman, and Mohammad Zarghi.

The festival also continues its support for emerging talent through the Sator Prize. This year, the award recognizes Manuela Marotta, whose work will be featured following her selection as the 2025 winner.
