NARRUX Systems targets Medallion Fund's 39 percent return benchmark
NARRUX Systems FZE, based in Ajman, UAE, has announced its intention to compete against the industry benchmark set by Jim Simons’ Medallion Fund of Renaissance Technologies. The Medallion Fund is noted for achieving approximately 39 percent annual returns after fees over three decades.
NARRUX Systems distinguishes its approach by focusing on unlevered returns. While the Medallion Fund historically utilized significant financial leverage through structured option constructions provided by banks, NARRUX Systems aims to achieve and exceed the 39 percent benchmark using only the raw signal of its predictive models, without mathematical leverage.
Michael Torsten Köbler, Chief Operating Officer of NARRUX Systems FZE, stated that the company requires every strategy to deliver its base return without leverage or compound interest assumptions. This approach is intended to serve as a rigorous testing standard for institutional investors, ensuring that performance is driven by the predictive model rather than financing mechanisms.
