Naruto franchise expected to reveal new anime film at New York Comic Con 2026

A dedicated Naruto panel is scheduled for October 10, 2026, during the New York Comic Con at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Titled “NARUTO: What’s Next?”, the event is expected to present a roadmap for the future of the franchise.

Reports indicate that a new anime film may be announced during the panel, potentially including a worldwide premiere. The event will feature prominent guests, including original voice actors Junko Takeuchi (Naruto Uzumaki) and Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke Uchiha), alongside Studio Pierrot Executive Producer Yoshihiko Tominaga and a representative from Bandai Namco Entertainment.

In addition to the potential film announcement, the panel is expected to share updates regarding the Naruto Card Game, including its first promotional video. Other franchise developments may also be addressed, potentially providing clarity on previously delayed projects such as the special episodes originally intended for the anime's 20th anniversary.
