NASA Johnson Space Center Showcases Interns and Argonaut STEM Expedition

NASA Johnson Space Center is highlighting two major STEM outreach initiatives. Intern Macie Landon, a Texas A&M visualization student, spent a summer at the center creating graphics, 3D models and video content for the Moon Base Program, describing how the experience broadened her view of aerospace careers and the importance of storytelling in space missions.

Separately, JASON Learning honored scientist Leia Hall as an Honorary Argonaut for her role in the 2026 Houston Liftoff Expedition. Hall guided eight Argonaut students through hands‑on field work at the Houston Advanced Research Center, Armand Bayou Nature Center, and Arrow Science and Technology, culminating in visits to NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory and Johnson Space Center Mission Control. Both programs aim to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists by providing real‑world experience at NASA facilities.
