Nasarawa Governor Abdullahi Sule receives engineering award and commends security agencies

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has received the Presidential Merit Award from the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). The award recognizes his administration's focus on engineering-driven development and infrastructure. Following a two-day inspection, the NSE highlighted several key projects, including the Mararaba and Keffi flyovers, the Akwanga bypass, and the Diamond New Energy lithium plant, which is noted for its potential in local mineral processing.

In a separate development, Governor Sule commended the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies for their recent success in combating crime. The commendation follows the rescue of a kidnapping victim and the arrest of three suspects in Lafia and the Jenkwe Development Area. Security operatives also dismantled a criminal hideout and recovered various items during the operation.
