Nasarawa Police arrest two suspects in alleged murder of Jude Thaddeus

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested two suspects, Yusuf Musa, 23, and Victor Zamani, 32, in connection with the alleged murder of 50-year-old Jude Thaddeus. The victim, also known as Musa, was reportedly killed inside his residence in Aku Village, Karu Local Government Area, before his body was dumped in a dry well and set ablaze.

According to police spokesperson Ramhan Nansel, the suspects allegedly attempted to conceal the crime by covering the well with blocks. During interrogation, Yusuf Musa reportedly confessed to his involvement and disclosed that the victim's heavy metals and industrial engines were sold for 3.4 million Naira.

Detectives and environmental services personnel recovered the decomposed remains from the well. While two suspects are in custody, police stated that a third suspect remains at large and efforts are ongoing to apprehend them.
