Nasarawa State pledges project completion by 2029

The Nasarawa State government has reaffirmed its commitment to completing all ongoing infrastructure projects and initiating new critical developments before the end of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s tenure in May 2029. Dr. Nawani Aboki, the Commissioner of Information, Culture and Tourism, stated that the administration is focused on building a foundation for sustainable development and improving the quality of life through deliberate sectoral policies.

To ensure accurate reporting, the state government has urged journalists to conduct physical inspections of government projects. During an engagement with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Nasarawa State Council, Commissioner Aboki announced plans to introduce weekly press briefings. These briefings aim to provide timely information regarding government activities, ensuring that media practitioners have access to the same information as government officials to facilitate precise reportage.
