Nasarawa United and Enyimba face critical league matchup

Nasarawa United is set to host Enyimba in Lafia as both clubs attempt to improve their early-season league performances. Nasarawa United, also known as the Solid Miners, enters the fixture following a 2-0 victory against Inter Lagos, marking their first win of the season.

Enyimba, a nine-time champion, currently sits in 19th place after a recent 0-0 draw with Warri Wolves and a 4-2 loss to Katsina United. While historical head-to-head statistics favor Enyimba with seven wins compared to Nasarawa United’s five, the visitors have historically struggled to secure victories in Lafia.

For Nasarawa United, a win would serve to validate their recent recovery, while Enyimba seeks to find attacking rhythm and climb away from the bottom of the table.
