NASCAR Brasil playoffs begin with new oval circuit in Chapecó

The NASCAR Brasil Series enters its playoff phase with a decisive stage in Chapecó, Santa Catarina. This event marks a significant technical shift as the category and its drivers face an oval circuit for the first time during the track's inauguration.

Seventeen-year-old Murilo Rocha enters the playoffs following a strong debut season, currently leading the Rookie of the Year standings and holding third place in the Challenge class. The championship battle begins with 12 drivers receiving 20 bonus points, with the field narrowing to the top six after three races.

Additionally, veteran driver Sérgio Ramalho will make his series debut during the playoffs, driving the Chevrolet Camaro #27 for Team RC. Ramalho, a two-time Porsche Cup Brasil Endurance champion, joins the grid as the competition continues to expand its national presence.
