Kansas Speedway to host NASCAR Cup and Truck Series playoff races

Kansas Speedway is set to host the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this weekend for the ongoing Chase playoffs. The Cup Series will compete in the Hollywood Casino 400 on Sunday, September 27, at 3:00 p.m. ET. The race covers 400.5 miles and features three stages. Current championship leader Kyle Larson and Team Penske driver Ryan Blaney are among the top contenders noted by analysts and betting odds.

The Craftsman Truck Series will hold the Race To Stop Suicide 200 on Saturday, September 26, at 1:00 p.m. ET. This 201-mile event marks the second race of the Truck Series playoffs. Driver Tyler Ankrum is participating in the event, which includes a partnership with the HOPE LIVES campaign to raise suicide awareness.

Goodyear will provide the Racing Eagle tire setups for both series. Cup Series teams will utilize a setup similar to the one used at Kansas in the spring, while Truck Series teams will use familiar setups and inner liners. The weekend's racing will be broadcast on USA for the Cup Series and FS1 for the Truck Series.
