Separately, driver Carson Hocevar posted on social media that today’s NASCAR lacks the entertainment value of the 2000 Talladega race, arguing the sport has lost fan interest and describing it as "on the ventilator." Hocevar affirmed his love for NASCAR but warned that attending races has become essential to attract fans.
