Jesse Love wins NASCAR O'Reilly Series race at WWT Raceway
Jesse Love secured his first victory of the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season at World Wide Technology Raceway, winning the Nu Way 225. Driving for Richard Childress Racing, Love moved within 16 points of the championship lead. Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer finished second and third, respectively.
The race was marked by significant chaos, including a massive multi-car accident on pit road following Stage 1. The pileup involved approximately 10 to 11 vehicles, including those of championship contenders Rajah Caruth and Brandon Jones. The incident was triggered by contact between Nick Sanchez and Caruth, leading to a chain reaction that narrowly missed several Joe Gibbs Racing pit crew members. Despite the severity of the crash, no serious injuries were reported.
Additional incidents occurred during the race, such as a collision between Corey Day and William Sawalich that resulted in Day's retirement from the race.
