NASDAQ Composite climbs 1.3% to 26,207 points in New York trading

The NASDAQ Composite closed up 1.30% at 26,206.89 points, reaching a daily high of 26,215.82 and a low of 25,825.85. Over the past week the index rose 0.797%, and since the start of 2026 it has gained 12.79%, with the yearly peak at 27,190.21 points.

Leading gainers included Amkor Technology (+7.85%), FormFactor (+7.03%), PDF Solutions (+6.70%), Power Integrations (+6.58%) and Integra LifeSciences (+6.30%). The biggest losers were Ionis Pharmaceuticals (‑23.90%), Elron Electronic Industries (‑19.35%), Computer Programs and Systems (‑8.54%), Costco Wholesale (‑4.21%) and Comtech Telecommunications (‑3.61%).

NVIDIA accounted for the largest market‑capitalisation share in the index, with 4.165 trillion euros and the highest trading volume of 36,968,539 shares. Among the constituents, Consumer Portfolio Services showed the lowest forward P/E ratio (3.46), while SIGA Technologies was projected to deliver the highest dividend yield at 16.95% for 2026.
