NASDAQ Composite index declines during Thursday trading

The NASDAQ Composite index experienced declines during Thursday trading. Reports indicate the index saw fluctuations, with intraday losses ranging between approximately 0.27 percent and 1.38 percent.

Despite the recent downward movement, the index has maintained a significant upward trend since the beginning of 2026, growing by roughly 14.57 to 15.47 percent year-to-date. The index reached a yearly high of 27,722.75 points earlier in the year.

In terms of individual stock performance, Comtech Telecommunications and Nissan Motor were among the gainers, while Americas Car-Mart and FormFactor saw notable decreases. NVIDIA and Intel were identified as having high trading volumes.
