Nasdaq reports network connectivity issues affecting US equity markets
Nasdaq has reported a network connectivity disruption at its data center in Carteret, New Jersey, causing intermittent gaps in data feeds across its US equity markets. The issue affects the Nasdaq, Nasdaq Texas, and Nasdaq PSX markets, impacting both primary and backup hardware and software data streams.
To maintain market access, the exchange operator has advised clients to switch to unaffected backup data channels located at its Chicago facility. Nasdaq stated it is intensively investigating the cause of the disruption and apologized for the inconvenience. While trading has not been halted, clients experiencing data gaps have been instructed to submit orders to recover missing information.
