Naseeruddin Shah expressed discomfort filming Tridev song

Director Rajiv Rai recently revealed that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah felt significant hesitation while filming the song ‘Tirchi Topiwale’ for the 1989 action film Tridev.

Shah was reportedly nervous about the choreography, as dancing was not considered one of his primary strengths. Additionally, the actor expressed awkwardness regarding the age gap between himself and his co-star, Sonam, noting that she was younger than his daughter, Heeba Shah. Rai noted that he helped the actor overcome these hesitations by encouraging him to treat the musical sequence as an acting performance rather than a traditional dance routine.
