NASENI empowers 1,000 beneficiaries in Kano North

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has expanded its nationwide sustainable empowerment programme to the Kano North Senatorial Zone. In the Kabo Local Government Area, the initiative provided 1,000 beneficiaries with food items, work tools, and household utility equipment.

Dr. Yahaya Tanko, Technical Assistant to the NASENI Executive Vice Chairman on Sustainable Development Goals, stated that the intervention is designed to align with UN Sustainable Development Goals regarding Zero Hunger, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Climate Action. The programme aims to move beyond immediate relief by providing productive assets to help citizens establish sustainable incomes and strengthen local economic activities.
