NASES modernizes Slovakia's electronic public administration tools
The National Agency for Network and Electronic Services (NASES) has modernized key electronic public administration tools to simplify online communication between citizens and the state. The improvements focus on three interconnected solutions designed to streamline official procedures.
A new Service Locator allows citizens to find services based on life situations—such as childbirth, moving, marriage, real estate purchases, or starting a business—rather than navigating complex government structures. The system is designed to guide users to the correct electronic submission without requiring prior knowledge of which specific office is responsible.
Additionally, electronic forms have been redesigned to guide users step-by-step. These smart forms react to user input, hiding irrelevant questions and displaying only necessary attachments and documents. The system also includes real-time data validation to prevent errors, provides explanatory notes for specific fields, and allows for pre-filling data from existing state sources to reduce repetitive entry. The modernization also integrates the ability to complete forms, attach documents, electronically sign, and submit applications to the relevant authorities in one place, with support for online payments for required fees.
