Nashville SC and New York City FC play to scoreless draw

Nashville SC and New York City FC played to a 0-0 draw at Yankee Stadium, ending Nashville's four-game winning streak. Despite the result, Nashville extended its unbeaten run to six matches and remains at the top of the league standings with 53 points.

Goalkeepers Brian Schwake of Nashville and Matt Freese of NYCFC both recorded clean sheets. Schwake, a rookie, made one save to secure his 11th shutout of the season, having surrendered only 17 goals so far. Freese made two saves to help NYCFC earn its third consecutive draw, though the team remains winless in its last six matches.

Nashville controlled much of the match with 55% possession and 13 shot attempts, but failed to convert. Hany Mukhtar hit the crossbar on an empty net in the 43rd minute. Nashville currently holds an 11-point lead over second-place Inter Miami in the Eastern Conference.
