Nashville SC faces New York Red Bulls in pursuit of MLS record

Nashville SC is set to host the New York Red Bulls at GEODIS Park in a Major League Soccer matchup. Having already secured the Supporters’ Shield, Nashville SC currently sits at the top of the Eastern Conference with 71 points.

If Nashville SC secures a victory, they will reach 22 wins for the season, matching the record set by Inter Miami in 2024. A win would also position them to potentially break that single-season points record in their final regular-season game against FC Cincinnati.

Nashville SC coach BJ Callaghan stated that while the records are a potential outcome, his primary focus remains on the team's performance and approach. Meanwhile, the New York Red Bulls enter the match in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, facing significant pressure to secure results to maintain their postseason hopes.
