Nashville TV series marks 14th anniversary of premiere
The television series Nashville, created by Calli Khouri with a soundtrack by T-Bone Burnett, premiered on ABC on October 10, 2012. The show focused on the country music scene, following characters such as Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes.
After ABC canceled the series at the end of its fourth season in 2016 due to declining ratings, a fan-driven campaign successfully moved the production to CMT and Hulu. The show aired a fifth season before officially ending in 2018.
