Nasr Initiative launched in Marib to support Yemeni military

The Nasr Initiative for Supporting the Yemeni Army and Popular Resistance was launched in Marib on Wednesday. This community-based, voluntary initiative aims to mobilize social and popular efforts to support the Yemeni Armed Forces in their confrontation with the Houthi militia.

The initiative was established in response to a call for general mobilization and national mobilization issued by the President of the Presidential Leadership Council. It seeks to organize various Yemeni talents and competencies—including academic, student, medical, and professional sectors—to provide social, media, and humanitarian support to the military.

Organizers stated that the movement is a direct response to recent military escalations by Houthi forces. The initiative views the defense of the state and its institutions as a shared responsibility between the military and all segments of society, aiming to restore security and stability across Yemen.
