Nasser Al Attiyah wins Asian Games gold in skeet shooting

Qatari athlete Nasser Al Attiyah has secured a gold medal in the men’s skeet team event at the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan. Al Attiyah, 55, competed alongside teammates Rashid Al Athba and Ali Al Ishaq to lead the Qatari team to victory, finishing ahead of Kuwait and India.

This achievement marks a unique year for Al Attiyah, who also won his sixth Dakar Rally title earlier this year. His gold in Nagoya is his third Asian Games gold medal, following previous wins in 2002 and 2010, and his sixth overall medal at the Games. His diverse sporting career also includes an individual bronze medal in skeet shooting at the 2012 London Olympics.
