Nasser Al-Thani faces debt seizure in London

A British court has authorized the Hotel Dorchester in London to seize and sell a vehicle belonging to Nasser Al-Thani to settle an outstanding debt of approximately £458,000 (roughly €532,000). The unpaid amount covers accommodation, room service, and accumulated interest. The vehicle, a Fiat 500 Abarth Tributo Ferrari, has an estimated market value of £23,500, which is significantly lower than the total debt.

Nasser Al-Thani is the son of Abdullah Al-Thani, the majority shareholder of the Spanish football club Málaga CF. While Al-Thani did not attend the court hearings, his legal representatives stated he would take measures to dismiss the case, though they did not explicitly deny the existence of the debt.

This incident follows ongoing legal issues for the Al-Thani family in Spain. In July, a court in Málaga issued a European arrest warrant and ordered the provisional imprisonment of Abdullah Al-Thani and his sons, Nayef, Nasser, and Rakan, as part of an investigation into alleged misappropriation, unfair administration, and the imposition of abusive agreements.
