Nasser Social Bank updates education financing and tuition installments
Nasser Social Bank has updated its educational expense financing product to provide more flexibility for families. The revised terms now include the ability to pay university tuition in installments, a feature not previously available under the product's guidelines.
Under the new structure, the product combines financing with savings. Customers receive full financing for an entire educational stage, with tuition paid out in annual installments based on actual expenses. The remaining funds intended for future years are placed in a savings account earning a 15% annual return, allowing parents to generate interest on unused funds until they are needed.
Walid El-Nahas, Vice Chairman of the Bank, noted that the financing carries an interest rate 0.5% lower than the bank's standard cash financing rates and is exempt from administrative fees. The initiative aims to help Egyptian families manage rising education costs and plan for long-term academic commitments.
