Nasu Highland Park launches automated memory-capture service

Nasu Highland Park in Tochigi Prefecture has implemented a new service called ‘Pressma’ to help visitors capture memories without the distraction of smartphones. The service uses approximately 50 cameras installed throughout the park to automatically capture natural moments and facial expressions of guests.

By registering faces in advance, the system extracts scenes featuring the visitors and compiles them into highlight movies. This allows guests to focus on their activities rather than acting as photographers. As of September 2026, the service has reached 6,800 registered users and 1,100 purchasing groups. The service is seeing popularity among families and solo travelers, with plans to expand the technology to other leisure facilities.
