NAT San Marino prepares for UEFA Regions’ Cup match in Slovenia

The NAT San Marino football team has arrived in Ptuj, Slovenia, to compete in Group 2 of the UEFA Regions’ Cup 2026-27 Intermediate Round. The competition is Europe’s premier international tournament for amateur football, featuring strict player eligibility requirements regarding professional contracts and registration history.

Under the guidance of head coach Luigi Bizzotto, the team enters this tournament with high expectations following their success in 2024, when they hosted and won their Intermediate Round group to reach the final stages. Bizzotto noted that the squad includes several experienced players who can help integrate newer members of the group during this continental campaign.
