Nataša Pirc Musar loses top popularity ranking in Slovenia

A recent Mediane poll for POP TV indicates a shift in the popularity of Slovenian political figures. For the first time in over two years, President Nataša Pirc Musar has dropped from the top spot to second place in the ranking of most popular politicians, being overtaken by SD leader Matjaž Han.

Regarding party support, the SDS remains the most popular party with 21.7 percent support, followed closely by Gibanje Svoboda at 20.9 percent. Other parties include a coalition of NSi, SLS, and Fokus at 8.3 percent, SD at 6.8 percent, and Levica at 4.9 percent.

In the individual politician rankings, Agriculture Minister Janez Cigler Kralj secured third place, followed by Interior Minister Francija Matozna in fourth and Prime Minister Janez Janša in fifth. The current government faces opposition from 48 percent of those surveyed, while 34.9 percent support the government's work.
