Natacha Jaitt family seeks to reopen death investigation
The family of Natacha Jaitt has requested the reopening of the investigation into her death, which occurred on February 23, 2019, at the Xanadú party hall in Tigre. The request was filed by her brother, Ulises Jaitt, through attorney Ignacio Barrios before the San Isidro General Prosecutor's Office.
The case was previously archived in March 2024 after prosecutors concluded there was no evidence of homicide or illegal activity. However, the legal team argues that several key elements require further analysis to ensure a precise reconstruction of the events.
Key points of the appeal include discrepancies in the emergency timeline, specifically a reported 33-minute gap between the initial police alert and the medical dispatch. The defense also seeks to investigate the alleged alteration of the crime scene before police arrival, the digital analysis of seized devices such as the victim's iPad, and the review of security camera footage and medical-forensic studies.
