Natal, Brazil hosts inaugural Ginga Moda RN fashion showcase

The city of Natal opened its Ginga Moda RN fashion event with a ceremonial boat tour along the Rio Potengi, highlighting the region’s coastal landscape, historic forts and the Newton Navarro Bridge. Organisers used the cruise to introduce participants—journalists, buyers and designers—to the natural inspiration behind the state's creative industry.

The three‑day showcase, staged on July 27‑28, features runway shows, a showroom for wholesale buyers, commercial spaces for 13 local brands and a collaborative store for ten artisanal labels. SEBRAE‑RN emphasised the project’s aim to strengthen Natal’s fashion sector, increase competitiveness of small businesses and promote the cultural identity of Rio Grande do Norte in national and international markets.
