Natal, Brazil's São João Festival Extends Weekend Lineup and Traffic Changes

The São João de Natal celebrations continue with a second weekend of free concerts at the Arena das Dunas in the city’s south zone. On Saturday, performances include Fagner, Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano, Zezo and Circuito Musical; Sunday features Xand Avião, Matheus & Kauan, Léo Foguete and Daniel Donato. The event maintains a food‑drive partnership, collecting non‑perishable items for the local food bank.

The municipal mobility department has added a new fourth app‑based transport pick‑up point on the marginal avenue near the arena and rerouted traffic, temporarily closing Avenida Prudente de Morais during crowd dispersal. Additional free return bus service adds 552 trips across the two main venues, with dedicated express lines and police support.
